To install Office, try signing in directly to the Office 365 Software page instead. Select the language and bit-version you want (PC users can choose between 32-bit and 64-bit), and then click Install. The Outlook Search Repair tool repairs search results within Outlook. Due to some changes in macOS Mojave, this tool no longer works in 10.14 and higher. If you are on macOS Mojave (10.14), you can follow the steps below to reindex Spotlight for Outlook for Mac. Choose Apple menu, then System Preferences, and then Spotlight. In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, select the date or time. Select Date and time settings. Select Set time automatically and, if shown, Set time zone automatically. If you don't have the option to set the time zone automatically, make sure your local time zone is shown in Time zone. Restart any Office app. Rebuild Office 2016 For Mac Database. In Office 2011, a common way to fix this was to rebuild the Office 2011 database (also known as creating a new identity). However, Microsoft has removed this feature in Office 2016 for Mac claiming Office database rebuilds are now done automatically on Mac.

Older versions up to and including 16.16 can be activated with an Office 2016 for Mac volume license. You can’t activate version 16.17 or later with an Office 2016 for Mac volume license.
